![]() ![]() I would like to thank my family and friends for their continued support. ![]() And then, the poorly written female lead (who seems to just be there for the protagonist to "rescue her virtue" then magically sex up right after a presumed rape scene, oh yeah, then we got engaged after so it's ok) beats a priest to death based upon a random promotion the she is totally unfazed by, then walks around like nothing has happened. My best friend just possessed my horse? Guess I'll just roll with it. I am a super rare magic user in a setting where that is super rare and crazy? Guess I'll roll with it. Badly written female characters, one dimensional antogonist, and every time something serious happens, all characters just shrug it off and go back to their routine. Main character is just good at everything, "and then I won a chess tournament and everyone clapped !". Characters are cardboard cutouts, and don't behave like real people. The whole book has the feel of something posted to the r/thathappened subreddit. ![]()
